Our Story

Who are the Velmas?

We are strong voices. We do the work and vouch for one another.

A Velma does the right thing for the right reasons.

We are practical, tactical, and factual.

We are a group of female BTAM practitioners who have banded together to share resources so we can provide the highest quality work possible.

Each of us has our own specialty and our own practice. We are five top-tier professionals ready to fill your BTAM needs. Our collective experience covers the necessary disciplines and together we will provide you with information and the cutting edge thinking you need to be successful. The Velmas provide support, referral sources, and back up – necessary in the fast moving world of violence prevention. We are going to make some good trouble.

Which Velma is the right one? We are all the right ones and work well together, but….
